NoRa’s Next Phase


The planning stage

Thanks to the many comments and feedback received from our community as we evaluate an event and activity-focused community space for evenings at NoRa.  We are still in the planning stage but have identified some resources we will need to launch the initiative once defined.  These roles currently include the following:

  • Experienced evening/closing barista and Shift Lead
  • Kitchen staff (afternoon, evenings and events)
  • Event, activity and rental coordinator and business support

We are working to have a business plan for our evening concept in place as soon as possible.  We will be testing options to get feedback and work out the details.  We will announce Concept Test Nights via the website and via social media when determined. We welcome your input and feedback to these tests. 

In the meantime, we appreciate your patience with the abbreviated hours and welcome any ideas and thoughts you may have on a NoRa at Night concept.

Plate It Forward - Food Bank - Community Hearth

Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina's Plate It Forward

During September, NoRa will make a donation to the Food Bank for every purchase of our special Community Hearth latte. A warm combination of chocolate, pistachio and toasted marshmallow that will bring a smile to your lips while helping fight hunger.
