An Important Update Regarding Our Pricing & A New Way to Save!
To our NoRa Community
We're informing our community about a necessary adjustment to our pricing, effective Sunday June 1, 2025. Like many businesses, we've been experiencing significant cost increases from our suppliers and vendors, particularly for our to-go packaging. From 10% increases to the coffee beans we use to the over 100% increase on certain necessary packaging items, NoRa has had to absorb a variety of unexpected costs.
To help us navigate these rising expenses, we will be implementing a temporary surcharge of 5 cents per item on all orders that require to-go containers. This surcharge is specifically to help offset the sharp increase in the cost of these containers, which has become one of our biggest cost challenges.
In-house cups available for (almost) all drinks with no surcharge
We want to assure you that this surcharge only applies to items packaged in to-go containers. There will be no additional surcharge for items you enjoy "for here" in the shop, even though these costs have also risen. We now have glasses and cups for all in-house drinks with the exception of 20 ounce hot drinks. We encourage you to use these reusable cups and glasses if you are enjoying your drink at NoRa.
There is one item that we will be increasing the price on - Liege waffles. The ingredient costs and the shipping of the dough for these have increased substantially. We will need to adjust their price accordingly, whether for here or to go.
Help Us & Save! Bring Your Own Clean Cup!
We're also excited to introduce a way for you to help us manage costs and save a little on your order! We will now be offering a 35-cent discount on any order when you bring your own clean, reusable cup for us to make your drink in. Please ensure your cup is clean before handing it over to our baristas.
This is temporary
The 5-cent surcharge on to-go items is temporary. We are committed to removing it as soon as the prices for our supplies and ingredients return to stable levels. However, we're happy to say that the 35-cent discount for bringing your own clean cup for drinks will be a permanent feature!
